Universal remote controls are not a new invention as they have been around before. Even the iPhone can be configured to control everything in your home. This one is still worthy of a mention though as it uses a large touch screen on the front of the device which is used to control most aspects of your home. It is designed by David Chacon and is described by DVice as a “Nerve Centre right in your pocket”.

In today’s security obsessed world, having a portable surveillance capability is always advantageous when trying to keep up with the bad guys. A new iPhone application can now allow security personnel to not only track security camera images, but also control them. Vegas will no doubt take notice.

This cell phone concept seems to be imitating the Wii, as it’s all about attachments. Which makes for a very interesting device. Cuusoo has produced a concept that’s practical and well designed. Japan-based designer Marimo-san created the concept.
It’s a cell phone that would allow the user to remove the screen of the phone, allowing video phone calls on the go. Marimo-san has several versions of what various attachments might look like, including a widescreen PC-style to dual screen video viewer. It’s an idea that might speed up the convergence of the PC and the cell phone, so who knows, we may actually see this one in the marketplace.

New phones have all the bells and whistles, but they leave a lot to be desired as far as design and feel. The S-series is just the opposite, combining sleek styling with quality materials in a compact package. Materials like bamboo and black acrylic with Brushed Aluminium Buttons. It makes owning and viewing the phone a joy. That much is obvious from the images alone.
The idea of this phone is to stand out and make a statement. And to do so without cutting out all of the features. All the key features are easily used without having to go out of your way and waste time.

If Sony were to partner with Apple for their next portable, all-in-one gaming device, the result might look something like this beautiful and sexy droolworthy beast called iWish.
Mat Brady made this mockup, and says that he calls this the iWish because he wishes Sony would get it’s act together and improve the PSP. He makes a good point about many companies doing amazing and innovative things these days, yet sadly, the only innovative thing to happen to the PSP since 2005 was that it got a little slimmer. Can’t argue with that.
