Samsung Instinct

Thursday, June 12th, 2008 | Audio/Video Gadgets, Mobile Phones with No Comments »

Is this the best Sprint and Samsung phone ever? Many of us think so. And it just got better. Thanks to the unveiling of the iPhone 3G with it’s $199 price tag, Sprint rethought a few things.

Like offering an extra $100 mail-in rebate which levels the playing field with AT&T. Apparently, current customers can buy the phone without renewing their 2-year contract, which is good news for those who want to switch carriers.

3G iPhone 2.0

Tuesday, June 10th, 2008 | Mobile Phones with No Comments »

I know it can’t hold a candle to the Cuisinart Ice-Cream Maker with Sprinkle Dispenser, but another little rumor that was confirmed on Monday was the release of the 3G iPhone 2.0. It’s been hyped for months and ultimately the specs on the 3G iPhone come as no big surprise, except for the price… The 8 gig version is only $200 with a contract from AT&T. Mobile Phone Voice Changer

Thursday, May 29th, 2008 | Mobile Phones with No Comments »

If you fancy changing your voice while being on a phone call then this voice changer is for you. It connects to your mobile phone and works like a hands free kit, while it changes your voice to a duck like, baby, old man or even a robot. I have no real clue why this would be done apart from to mess around with someone for fun.

The voice changer needs a phone with a headphone jack to actually work which excludes a bunch of phones, but if you are the lucky type to have a phone with a headphone jack then check this thing out. It costs $30 from Spyville.

Samsung unleashes TOUCHWIZ for the European Market

Thursday, May 22nd, 2008 | Mobile Phones with No Comments »

The Touchwiz a.k.a the SGH-F480, is obviously an iPhone wannabe from Samsung, featuring an improved and super user friendly UI controlled with your finger, and a 5Mp AF camera with auto focus and a CMOS video lens.

It sports 8GB or memory, and even an FM radio. The F480 makes use of a new and unique img4.gif UI, with specially designed widgets to customise and personalise the use of your phone. It’s a slick looking phone. Talk time is 3hrs. It will hit the European market shortly. Not sure when we’ll see this in the U.S.
