Globwon Electronics is making available to overseas purchasers a new Chinese watch phone. It is called the Globwon ZTC-F1 and you’ll find it pricing around $225.

The Globwon ZTC-F1 is a quad-band, mobile phone which supports Bluetooth for hands-free calling and includes an integrated 1.3-megapixel digital camera. It’s also got FM radio capability and comes with a 1GB memory card.

A guy named Dave Jones has created some seriously geeky scientific calculator wrist watch. The watch was built from standard off the shelf components and can perform a variety of RPN/Algebraic scientific functions.The project started because of David breaking his own Casio CFX-400 series scientific calculator watch after using it for 10 years. He just couldn’t live with out it. Unfortunately these type of calculator watches have been unavailable for 20 or so years with the latest only performing the basic 4 functions.

Hamilton introduced an awesome luxury watch for sci-fi fans at the BaselWorld 2008. The Hamilton Code Breaker is a watch with some amazing design and great level of detail. Just look at that square case and the dials within. Hamilton is not new to watches with a Sci-Fi flare.They have enjoyed a long relationship with the science fiction movie genre, going back to 1968 when a desk clock was features in Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. They also made the alien-shaped watches from Men in Black. Their watches aren’t for those on a Timex budget though, the Hamilton Code Breaker will set you back $1,995. And any geek knows that will buy you a lot of Star Trek or Star Wars toys.
