Halo 6-in-1 Projection Alarm Clock

Wednesday, July 9th, 2008 | Miscellaneous Gadgets with No Comments »

I know when most people say “Halo”, what springs to mind is that fragging-cool game for the Xbox. In this case, I am referring to the Halo 6-in-1 Projection Alarm Clock Flashlight that even Master Chief himself would be comfortable with.

The six functions of the Halo are the projection alarm clock, flashlight, clock, timer, calendar, as well as a built-in compass. The projection alarm clock, which means you can shine your wake-up time right on the wall. Apparently, you can also shine a regular white light, as the device has a flashlight function.

If you haven’t been able to get your hands on one of the coveted iPods so far, but you love the look of them this memory stick would be cheaper and cute. It doesn’t quite have the sleek look of the iPod, but instead goes for a cuddly lovable version. Just flip it open and inside is a memory stick to hold all of your data. iPod owners could even carry this around to show their love for all things iPod without having to worry about the real thing getting stolen.

Handsome Man Bank

Monday, July 7th, 2008 | Home Gadgets with No Comments »

Apparently all the good and handsome men are taken in Japan. I guess that’s why Japan’s women are finding romance with this virtual man called the “Handsome Man Bank”.

It comes in girl-friendly pink or white, with an LCD display that will show 5 handsome men. It costs about $50 and he’s a player alright. A real smooth guy with lines like “Can I kiss you?” or “May I rub your shoulders?” But at the end of the day he’s all talk, leaving some longing and needful Japanese women all hot and bothered. Should have come with another accessory for this phase I guess.

Panasonic SDR-SW20

Monday, July 7th, 2008 | Electronic Gadgets with No Comments »

Finding a water-resistant digital camera or camcorder that can survive the occasional splash or light rain is not that difficult, but finding one that can actually be submerged for some cool underwater photography is a different story. In the past you either had to settle for an expensive underwater housing, or go the ziploc bag/duct tape/fingers crossed route. But not anymore thanks to Panasonic’s SDR-SW20 digital camcorder. It uses SD or SDHC memory cards instead of tape or a compact hard drive which not only makes it light and compact, but also able to survive drops from about 4 feet.

Hercules i-XPS SoundBox Portable Speaker

Sunday, July 6th, 2008 | Audio/Video Gadgets, Uncategorized, iPod gadgets with No Comments »

The i-XPS Soundbox is probably designed for those who want to chill by the pool or at the beach, or wherever, but the first thing I thought when I saw these is that they are downright fugly. The portable speaker will enclose and suffocate your iPod Nano (1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation), iPod Mini, iPod Classic, and other MP3 Players.

It has an integrated mini jack cable connection that connects it to the speakers through the headphone jack on the your MP3 Player. Then just zip it up to keep your MP3 player safe. It’s powered by 2 AAA batteries. I know you can’t wait to dress your iPod up as either Stone, Splash, or Spray design.
